  3. ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Names T.W. Shannon as 2017 Commencement Speaker

    Former Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives T.W. Shannon will deliver the keynote address at the 47th annual ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Commencement Ceremony. Shannon was the first Chickasaw and first African-American to become Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2013 and the youngest at the age of 34.

  5. Using Art to Provide Better Patient Care

    A new approach at ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ blends art into academic learning with students in 14 Health Sciences programs such as Nursing, Respiratory Care, and Occupational Therapy. The program, being developed for ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ called Visual Thinking Strategies, will be used by ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Health Sciences faculty and incorporated into the teaching curriculum in ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Health Sciences courses.
