   Sheann Stokes-Gilmore, known on campus as “BMC” (Blind Man Can), overcame a childhood in foster care, homelessness, addiction, and a traumatic injury that left him blind. He shared his story with nearly 400 guests at the ����ԭ�� Foundation’s annual Vision Dinner to a standing ovation.

2. ����ԭ�� Student Becomes First Enhanced Air Traffic Control Graduate Hired by FAA

   ����ԭ��’s Rebecca Nobles became the first graduate of an Enhanced Air Traffic Control program in the United States to be hired directly by the Federal Aviation Administration. Nobles bypassed the traditional FAA Academy thanks to ����ԭ��’s participation in the FAA’s Enhanced Air Traffic–Collegiate Training Initiative.

3. Graduate and 6-Year-Old Daughter Compete at ����ԭ�� Robotics Event

4. Students Explore Renewable Energy at ����ԭ��’s Hands-On STEM Academy

5. Vet Tech Student Honored with Posthumous Degree, Memorial Scholarship

   The Michelle “Misha” Buzlea Memorial Scholarship was established by the Buzlea family to honor the memory of their daughter, Misha, a ����ԭ�� Veterinary Technology student who passed away in January 2025. The scholarship supports future Vet Tech students who show determination, compassion, and a commitment to animal care—qualities that defined Misha’s life and work.
