Bynum, and Tulsa City Councilor Anna America, broke ground on the Student Success and Career Center at the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Southeast Campus, 10300 E. 81st St. The $5.3 million facility is part of the Vision Tulsa package approved by voters in 2016.

   ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ is offering a new Corrections Certificate beginning fall 2017 for individuals who work in corrections facilities or prisons. The program is the result of a partnership between ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ and the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.

4. Broken Arrow Fire Department Offers Internships for ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Students

   As part of an innovative new program, the Broken Arrow Fire Department and ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ are launching a Fire and Emergency Medical Services internship for ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ students. The interns are taking part of the 20-week Broken Arrow Fire Academy, in order to learn the skills needed to perform the duties of a firefighter as well as earning essential certifications for employment.
